Dispute leads to deaths of 33 dogs (Otago Daily Times)

A dispute between two neighbours has led to the slaughter of 33 dogs. Police said some of the animals were maimed first before being “finished off”. Others were shot at inside their cage or hit by ricocheting bullets.
